Location – Fathers Room
A somber atmosphere hangs in the air as the doctor mumbles to himself and reads over his findings, Both Sebastian and Adelia are present at the fathers bedside in the room awaiting news.

The doctor turns to them and the father.

Sebastian: What are your findings?

Doctor: Mr. Aeuhert seems to have some kind of poison inside him that is essentially slowing and shutting down his vital organs one at a time, though how he managed to get this poison is a mystery

Adelia quickly turns the focus away from the poison

Adelia: We don’t have time for the details, daddy is dying! How much longer does he have left?

The doctor remains silent and mumbles to himself as he revisits his findings, Sebastian is notably irritated by the doctors tarrying.

Sebastian: Doctor?

Doctor: Judging by the data I have received, the information suggests that the damage has been done therefore any medical intervention now would probably be too late…

Raphael tries to sit up, but is soon stopped by Sebastian.

Raphael: Alexander! Where’s Alexander…

Sebastian: Father, you would do well to not move, I would hate for there to be anymore “complications”

Adelia: So how long does daddy have left?

Doctor: It would be a miracle if Mr. Aeuhert lives to see tomorrow morning.

Adelia: We understand, thank you for your efforts, now if you excuse us we would like some time with our father.

Doctor: Of course, Miss Adelia.

The doctor leaves a silence hangs in the air as the two come to terms with the news. Raphael closes his eyes and takes the news stoically

After the doctors departure Adelia and Sebastian return to the bedside.
Sebastian turns away to look out the window at the full moon.

Sebastian: A former champion of justice, dying the death of a dog…

Adelia looks down at her father a light smile appearing on her face

Adelia: It hurts doesn’t it “Father”, Tell me how does it feel knowing you are going to die here as a powerless old man?

Raphael: …

Sebastian: Since you are nearing your end I guess it’s only fair I share this one truth with you.

Sebastian turns to face Raphael

Sebastian: In life there are things that one can control and things that will ultimately decide the fate of others.

Raphael: … So you two were behind this.

Sebastian: What you have done is unforgivable and it can’t be taken back

Adelia: Thanks to you and Alex mom is no longer here, but at least now she won’t be alone in death

Sebastian: I allowed you to be with Alexander only because I was feeling benevolent but alas all things must end, So know this after you go Alexander won’t be too far behind…
Lie there and think about that while you cling onto your final pitiful moments.

Adelia turns away from her father and proceeds to leave the room

Adelia: Come Sebastian lets let our father “Rest in Peace”

With a satisfied grin Sebastian leaves with Adelia


Sibling Encounter Scene

Dark Corridor

Alexander is walking to his fathers room then out the darkness 2 silhouettes slowly appear to be coming towards him.
As they come into focus Alexander soon realizes that it is Adelia and Sebastian who are walking towards him.
He continues walking not showing any signs of intimidation.
As the trio come together Alexander is shunted to the ground by Sebastian.

Adelia: Ah, if it isn’t Alexander…

Sensing danger Alexander tries to get back up but is immediately knocked back down by Adelia, she then proceeds to put her foot on his chest as a warning to stay down.
Sebastians imposing figure walks up to the grounded Alexander

Sebastian: Well now “Baby brother”, I take it you want to see our father?

Alexander says nothing

Sebastian: … Defiant as always I see and to think I was being civil and courteous with you, no matter though.

Adelia digs her foot into Alexanders chest causing him to gasp for breath.

Adelia: Take this as a warning of what’s going to come Alexander, fortunately you caught me and my brother in a good mood so we will let you slither away this time.

Sebastian: Your day of judgement will soon be here boy and soon you will end up just like father. Crushed and defeated before me.

Adelia removes her foot seemingly bored

Adelia: This is getting dull, come Sebastian let us leave Alex to see father. Nice seeing you though Alexander

Adelia turns and walks away
Sebastian: You are lucky she played nice with you this time, next time you won’t be so lucky

Sebastian turns and leaves
